Fashion Designer Wanted

The Fashion Designer will be responsible for working first hand with Ilse Valfré in all aspects of design for our growing e-commerce business and brand. We are looking for someone who is experienced, forward thinking, creative, organized, and understands the Valfré girl aesthetic.

Responsibilities:
• Working with the design team to support all aspects of design, from collection conception through to production
• Sourcing of fabrics and materials
• Communicate with vendors regarding all aspects of the development process
• Ensuring that design and production calendar dates are being met on time
• Having a consistent understanding of current and upcoming trends in regard to color, fabric, and silhouette
• Translating concepts into flat sketches
• Present design ideas to Ilse Valfré for review
• Analyze sales results and implement feedback back into designs

Qualifications:
• Experience in fashion design, product development, or apparel related field
• Understands the Valfré aesthetic
• In depth knowledge of fabric, apparel, materials, construction, and fit
• Extremely organized and strong attention to detail
• Innovative, out of the box thinker
• Fully proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
