A good eye with a mix of trouble gets you the images that mega babe and photographer Brooke Olimpieri delivers. She goes by the name Filthy Mouth Creative (this isn't the only reason she caught our attention a while back), and we were more than ecstatic to pick her brain about her craft. Read on to find out how she got the name Filthy Mouth Creative, what she believes a good image should possess, and see a new Valfré editorial she shot of Maria Piracci in The Fruta Collection.
Where does the name Filthy Mouth Creative come from?
Well, there was a time when I was known to have a filthy mouth in certain situations.. My then boyfriend called me that as my nickname, it stuck, I liked it. I wrote it on a post it and stuck it to my fridge and told him that if I ever owned my own business I would call it that. That boy is now my husband, and that name is now my brand. ️

Name your 3 biggest influences.
Ok that’s hard to narrow down. If I’m answering broadly, it’s music, fashion, film.
If I answer more specifically I’d say the things that have shaped me as a person & what has influenced me as an artist, I’d say movies like pretty woman, clueless, music like peaches, yeah yeah yeahs, seeing those artists on stage, the way they command an audience, the freedom that exudes from those front women. Their unapologetic nature. It’s so awe inspiring. I love that, I love when women can be rad, sexual, in your face, and still super talented and respected, that’s so empowering.
Finish the sentence. A good image should..

Who’s your dream model to work with?
KATE MOSS!!! But like for real for real, I’m obsessed with a couple people that the moment. Devon Carlson’s vibe is sick, she seems like a blast. I’m all about personality, I love a girl that can be wild and free and not worry every second if they look pretty. That freedom is the prettiest and allows a photographer to capture a model in a very natural way. I also love Camille Rowe and Ashley Moore, and Isabella Peschardt.

Who are your style icons?
Ugh, again so many.. Kate Moss (typical) that’s more my personal style.. for my work I’m inspired by Dolly Parton meets girl next door, all American schoolgirl. I love Daisy Duke & Suzanne Somers on Three’s Company. I love exotic dancers in the 90s vibes. Elizabeth Berkeley in Showgirls is my shit.

What advice would you give a photographer, stylist, or creative director in todays society?
Shoot! Shoot as if your life depends on it. Create as much as you can whenever you can. Find your niche, and perfect that. Also post, show your work on social media whether you think it’s your best or not, just post. Who cares, you can talk yourself out of anything, your work is your work and it’s rad because you created it, so share it!!
