Describe your style in 3 words.

Simple, Classic, Sexy.

Tell us about your jewelry line. What kind of pieces do you make and who is your customer?

My jewelry is composed of tourmaline, diamonds, and pearls set in 14K gold. I love family heirlooms and wanted to create fine jewelry that could be kept and passed down for generations, just like my grandma and my mother did for me. My customers range from young to old, regal to earthy!

When did you realize that you wanted to start a jewelry line and what was your first step in pursuing this?

I knew I wanted to start a jewelry line when I started having ideas for pieces I wanted to wear and stories I wanted to tell. I have always felt a strong affinity for jewelry and story telling so I start by coming up with poems and designs, things took off from there.

Any advice for aspiring artists and designers?

I think it's important for artists and designers to tell a story, have a voice, and know what makes your brand stand out.

Who was your role model growing up?

My role models are my mother and grandmother. They are both inspiring and strong women. I look up to them a lot.

What's on your summer playlist?

These days I listen to a lot of Afro beat. Check out Burna Boy, Mr. Eazi, "Pana" by Tekno has been on repeat!

Where do you draw inspiration from?

The jewelry I make is inspired by nature. My first collection represents the native symbol for the sun and the beauty of the desert. It tells a story of a desert rose. My second collection (which will be released very soon) is a love story between the moon and the sea.

What's next for you?

I'm currently shooting my second campaign video and will be releasing the collection in the fall!
