How did growing up in LA influence your music?
As a kid I was always drawn to the classic old Hollywood story of getting discovered at a soda fountain and the whole "rise and fall of a star" mythos. I assumed it was still that way. I was more interested in Judy Garland biographies than boys in junior high.

Tell us the inspiration behind "Do Me A Favor" Is it true you directed the music video too?
I did! I felt like I was in a kind of lifeless place because of my anxiety. Like I was trapped in my head and limiting myself and I wanted to have the full range of experiences again. I felt safe but that was never me so I had to snap out of it.

What music did you listen to growing up and who are your favorite artists today?
I was a Gershwin fan as a kid. Classic old movie music, Mancini. Right now I'm listening to a lot of Børns.

What's the best piece of advice someone has given you?

What's next for you?
More music!
