Halloween at The Wilshire: October 27th 

The Wilshire Hotel is getting a Halloween makeover this year and they are hosting one of the most amazing bashes yet! Two DJs will fill two rooms and they will host a contest giving you a chance to get entrance and free drinks to a MEG event! General admission is $10. Address: Wilshire Restaurant, 2454 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, 90403

The Rooftop Film Club: October 28-30th

If you're just wanting to chill this spooky weekend, then we suggest classic Halloween movie. The Montálban's rooftop is will be premiering some Holiday classics, so snuggle up with friends in lawn chairs with some booze and snacks and watch some spooky flicks. Here's the lineup- 10/28 Psycho, 10/29 Hocus Pocus 10/30 Beetlejuice. General admissions tickets are $17 with $2 booking fee. Labyrinth Ball at The Mondrian: October 28th & 29th 8pm-2am

Attention to all David Bowie Lovers! The Mondrian hotel's Skybar will be hosting the cult themed classic Labyrinth Ball and it’s going to be rad!  Diallo and Audiomoe (who are residents at the Skybar) will be playing music Saturday night and on Sunday The Band Who Fell To Earth (a David Bowie Cover Band) will play a set! The cost is $75.

The Witches’ Ball: October 29, 9pm-2 am

A 60’s and 70’s themed party for all you witchy babes. Offering open bar, tarot card readings, horror installations, live music and a bunch of other spooky things that are cool to look at at. Make sure to dress in your best witchy attire and the location of the gathering will be announced the day of! Location TBA. The cost is $60.

Noho Monster Bash: October 29 at 9pm

The Noho Monster Bash (Also known as “The Only Halloween Party in The Valley That Matters”) is back again this year! Every half hour there will be a new performance and prizes for costumes! But wait, there’s a catch. You must come to this party dressed as a Heroes or Villain. See you there, babes! This event will take place at The Federal Bar and costs $30. 

Halloween Booootie LA: October 29th 9pm 

Echo Park’s famous Echoplex will be hosting a huge Halloween party! From DJs to go-go dancers and R.A.I.D. (Random Acts of Irreverent Dance) it sounds like it’s going to be wild! The party will include a costume contest with a first prize of $200! AND the first 200 guest to arrive get a mashup CD full of songs that will be played throughout the night!$20 advanced and $30 at the door. Click here for more information. 

Blood Suckers Bash: October 29th 10pm

The Ace Hotel in downtown is having everyone dressing up to the nines for this spooky event! The decor really sets the mood as the hotel will be covered in a “swanky gothic” theme. As you hang around the lobby and theater you’ll see DJs, dark arts and be surrounded by drinks! the cost is $20. 

Halloween at the Roosevelt October 29th 8pm

From the ballroom to the poolside, this party is huge! AND the DJs know exactly how to get all the shy ghostly babes out on the dance floor! Don’t forget that this hotel on is known for ghost sightings! Time to get haunted. The cost of this event is between $90-$200.


Halloween at the Viceroy: October 19 8pm

For the monster babes that are looking to party with a lot of single people, well this would be the place! This Santa Monica boutique hotel is pretty picture perfect for that picturesque halloween movie-like experience we’ve all dreaming about. With haunted decor and DJs playing, costumes are mandatory if entering so you know this bash will not disappoint! The cost of this event is between $20-$80.

After Dark: Hollywood October 20th 9pm-2am

In the heart of west hollywood, You’ll find this event very intriguing. This Costume party starts from 9 pm the 30th until Halloween in the early hours of the morning. The cost is $50. 

Horror Nights at Universal Studios: All week 7pm-2am

7 terrifyingly scary mazes, scare zones, creatures following you in the dark through the theme park? Universal Studios Horror Nights definitely seems like a cool alternative to the whole party on Halloween cliché. If you’re up for something different this year than you have to check it out!


Bar Hopping

For all you cool kids just wanting to dress up and have a drink without all the house music in the background and the craziness, these themed bars are definitely something fun to try!

-Good Times at Davey Wayne’s for a 70’s themed speakeasy!

-No Vacancy, off of Hollywood Blvd which is also a speakeasy and the theme of this bar has a 1920s swanky vibe and to get to the bar you’ll have to enter through a bedroom!

-The Viper Room, famous for being owned by Johnny Depp and for being the last place River Phoenix partied at! This bar for sure is a must go to especially for the Halloween season. Shows playing every night with a cover fee to get in!

-The Ace Hotel’s Upstairs Bar is a rooftop bar that is inspired by Les Deux Cafe. Needless to say this dreamy spot is everything and we mentioned it was a rooftop bar, right? Events are happening every night like live bands and DJ sets ect.

-Dirty Laundry is definitely a well kept secret in LA but a must anyways, if you are interested in trendy bars with DJs and innovative drinks? Then search no more, this speakeasy is worth a try!

-Breakroom 86 is an 80’s themed speakeasy located behind the Line Hotel in K-Town and to enter all you have to do is look for the door next to the dumpster guarded by two big bouncers. If you love John Hugh flicks and karaoking to the best of the 80’s than this bar is for you!

-La Cita Bar because we love to dance and have a drink all at the same time. This latin bar will make you want to go all night and we like that!
