Some spend their childhood believing their lives would follow the framework of the perfect job, the perfect marriage, children, grandchildren, and then retirement.  We all know that’s not the way it works and once we do become adults we start to realize that the universe just simply doesn’t work in our favor.  It's about those who are creating their own paths in the face of society’s expectations.  This memoir is essential for all who aren’t living by the rules, which less face it, is most of us.

This New York Times Bestseller is a must read for every badass woman.  Lindy boldly shares how to make it in a society where not all bodies are treated with equal respect and thinks gender politics are tedious.  She provocatively shows what it means to become self-aware in a hard world.
